A bad youtube drumer

So the other day I was surfing through YouTube looking at drummers and I came upon a video that said "The best drum solo you will ever here". I clicked on the video and what I saw was not what I would consider the "best drum solo I have ever heard". In fact what I saw was probubly the worsted drum solo Ive ever heard. I'm not saying he didn't have a seance of beat, he did, its just that some of his fills sounded...off. I looked at the comments people made and there I saw his response to what people were saying about his drumming. He said " I know every one is saying that I suck but I think that I am one of the best and most creative drummers to ever walk the earth".
Now its good to have confidence in your drumming but its going a little fare saying that he is the best and most creative drummers to ever walk the earth. For me I have never said that I am a great or even a good drummer. The reason for this is that one I don't think that I am a good drummer and two I think that if I was to say that I am a good drummer that I will be laying and that then I will think that I am so good that i wont even need to try eny more and then I wont get eny beater at drumming. So in conclusion its good to have confidence in your drumming but you cant say that you are the greatest drummer to ever walk the earth because there will always be a beater drummer some ware out there.

My history of drumming

I have ben playing the drums for about 5 years now. The first thing that I lernd was a drum role. Befor i had started playing the drums i herd a drum role and a gient grin came to my face. When my teacher (max) said that befor I left today I would beable to do that I was thinking bs but shoure enoph befor i left i could do it. I found out that day that all a drum role is is letting the stick drop and leting it bounce but doing it with both hands. After that i lerned the basic rock beat. The hi-hat on 1 a 2 a 3 a 4 a and the bass drum on 1 and 3 and the snare drum on 2 and 4. After I got that drumming came prity esaly to me. I continued on taking lessions ware I lernd the drum beats for such songs as Hotel Califonia by The Egals

Last Thursday I went to the Jimi Hendrix experience tour. This concert was a tribute to Jimi that had such musicians as Mitch Mitchel, Billy Cox's and from Double Trouble Chris Layton and Tommy Shannon. It also included Jonny Lang, Kenny Wayne, and Buddy Guy. The three hour show was amazing. It was a night filled with songs such as "Hey Joe", "Purple Haze",Voodoo
Child", "little Wing" and many more. The night that I was there it was Billy Coxes birthday so they played one of the most incredible versions of happy birthday for Billy. Jimi Hendrix is one of my favorite musicians of all time along with SRV so i was thrilled to get to see this once in a life time performance.
